We welcome visitors at our workshop and will give guided tours so that you can see how to silk screen print. This is where the brilliant 8 colour Huichol Art T-shirts are produced on eight armed presses, called in Spanish "Pulpo" which means 'Octopus'. silkscreen.jpg (13608 bytes)
Relax and enjoy the best coffee, cappuchino, cold drinks and refreshments of the area in the OCTOPUS'S GARDEN CAFE; rest in the patio under the shade of bougainvilias with a giant Huanacaxtle tree overhead and watch a lively Mexican business at work.
We make SPINNING WHEELS in our carpentry workshop. You can see local woods being steam-bent and turned and finished in the construction process. We make the spinning wheels for the benifit of the Huichol indians who come to learn how to use them. You can see wool being spun and woven. wheelworkshop.jpg (16013 bytes)

This unusual conjunction was founded by two artists who sailed from England, U.K. on a PAPER BOAT. Here, in the Octopus's Garden, you can see photographs of the paper boat that they built. You may also like to find out about local events from the notice board and arrange an outing on a sail boat, go horse-back riding or fishing, or find out how to visit local artists. You'll enjoy it!

Regular opening times Monday through Saturday 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vallarta time. Open from November 1st.
